The U.S. Marshals Arrest Child Molestation Suspect

 

U.S. Marshal Mark S. James, Western District of Missouri announced the arrest of fugitive Davonte Patrick Bullock, on February 13th, 2019, in Springfield. Davonte Bullock, 19, of Springfield, Mo., was charged in Greene County, Missouri with two counts of 1st Degree Child Molestation. A warrant was issued for Bullock’s arrest on February 4th, 2019, and a bond was set at $150,000. The charges stemmed from a September 2018 investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in which Bullock was accused of molesting a 7 year old child on multiple occasions. Read more here

When information about Bullock's whereabouts reached the U.S. Marshals Service-Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force on the 13th of February, they arrested Bullock in a parking lot without any incident.

 


Springfield Conservation Nature Center in Springfield, MO

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center is an 80-acre slice of the Ozark's outdoors within the city limits of Springfield. Here, one can learn to connect with nature and value the importance of conservation. There is a three-mile walking trail for the visitors to enjoy. They can also join the educational and informative programs and events, and nature and conservation exhibits. The grounds include a covered picnic area although camping, hunting, and fishing are not allowed. They also do not allow bicycles and motorized vehicles and jogging is only allowed during specific hours. The Visitor Center includes a self-guided exhibit area, a gift shop, a 150-seat auditorium, classrooms, and restrooms.
